Job Duties:
- Thorough understanding of NFPA, manufacturer and local fire codes for Extinguishers and Kitchen Systems
- Performing Inspections and Maintenance of fire suppression systems. On the job training available
- Identifying NFPA code and identifying non-compliant issues
- Maintain proper documentation for all work performed
- Inspect Emergency Lighting, Replace Bulbs and batteries as needed
- Be punctual and presentable for the task assigned
Qualifications
- One year experience inspecting Potable Fire Extinguishers
- A current and valid driver’s license
- Must have knowledge and understanding of NFPA codes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and be customer oriented
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs., work from ladders, work overhead, and work varied hours including on call. Must be able to walk for extended periods of time over uneven ground. Must be able to work a flexible schedule.

CAD Operator
Entry-level position for an aspiring Fire Sprinkler Designer. This position works with Architectural, Mechanical, Civil and Structural drawings to produce production Fire Sprinkler System drawings for submission to local fire departments and our installation crews.
Once trained, Designer’s responsibilities include design layout, field checking, fabrication listing, material equipment submittals, hydraulic calculations, applicable installation requirements, and close out procedures. Responsible for ensuring designs in compliance with NFPA standards as well as ensuring delivery of quality service to the customer while maintaining scope of the ASA Fire obligations.
Strong potential for advancement through on the job work training to meet the NICET certifications, develop knowledge of building codes, fire sprinkler technology, and gain advanced CAD design skills as he/she achieves NICET certification levels.
Position requires the following:
- Valid Driver’s license
- Basic computer skills
- Microsoft Office Software
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Problem resolution skills, communication skills, mechanical aptitude, and spatial orientation skills

Your primary responsibility as a technician is to install, program, service, and troubleshoot a wide variety of residential/commercial security systems, smart home systems, access control systems, fire systems, and camera systems. You are meeting the security and safety concerns of our customers as well as helping them create an efficient smart home that meets their needs.

Fire Alarm Technician
Position Overview
Seeking a candidate with a strong fire alarm system background that is able to fulfill all the required duties of a Fire
Alarm Installation/Technician.
Responsibilities
This candidate must possess strong written and verbal communication skills, computer skills, and have a strong sense
of self-reliance.
Must possess the ability to install, program and troubleshoot fire alarm systems with limited or no supervision.
May require some overtime, occasional weekends and on call for after hours emergency calls.
Exceptional work ethic and attention to detail
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- One (1) to three (3) years fire alarm industry experience with training and a High School diploma
- National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), Fire Alarm Systems, Level I or the ability to obtain Level I certification within one year of employment.
- Knowledge of NFPA 72, NEC, Fire Alarm System Theory, OSHA Requirements, and Industry Standards for Fire Alarm systems installation.
- Ability to trouble shoot circuitry and equipment, understanding of blue prints and wiring schematics & as-built preparation.
- Experience with a variety of system manufacturers including Edwards, Bosch, Silent Knight, Gamewell, Honeywell, Firelite, etc.
- Ability to operate various types of test equipment
- Ability to trouble shoot circuits, equipment, wiring & a basic understanding of blue prints/wiring.
Employment Requirement:
Individual must possess a valid Driver's license in good standing.
Individual must be able to pass a background test.
Individual must pass a Drug Screen
Preferred Knowledge and Experience
